Our U-Pick Flower Farm
located in Seal Bay, Comox Valley, BC

Summer 2026
Currently growing and available soon:

Dahlias, Zinnias, Strawflowers, Snapdragons, Sunflowers, Statice, Sweet Peas, Delphinium, Hollyhock, Crocosmia, Feverfew, Winged Everlasting, Ammi, and more!

The address for the farm is 5628 Bates Rd., Courtenay, BC

Drive North past the white main house and turn right at the blue farmstand. If you have an appointment, we will open the gates 5 minutes before you arrive. Please follow signs for parking and be respectful of noise as we have a rental unit on the property. Continue to follow the signs for the U-Pick around the barn and toward the back fields.
We will meet you in the fields: look for the tent and you will find supplies and instructions there.

You may visit our goats, chickens and ducks through the fence. Please do not feed them anything, but the goats sure do love a good head scratch! Be mindful of the white electric fencing.

Please use the link below to make a reservation (will be available once the flowers are ready to be picked).
For same day appointments, or if you're planning a special gathering or a larger group, please call or text Terra at 604-831-4976.
Our appointments are generally only in the mornings and evenings as flowers do not do very well if picked in the heat of the day. We are open both weekdays and weekends depending on weather and the odd time that we are away. Please follow the link to check availability.

Pricing is based on the size of the jar/bucket you choose to fill:

Regular-Mouth Jar: $20 (approx. 28-30 stems)
Wide-Mouth Jar: $35 (approx 55-60 stems, for a larger bouquet)
Bucket: $120 (great for multiple arrangements or larger projects)

We prefer to take cash or etransfer, and can share the wifi if required for payment.

Clippers and jars are provided, but if you bring your own jar, you save $2. We will be available on-site to offer tips on how best to cut the flowers, at what bloom stage to cut, and how to help them last as long as possible.

If you would prefer to purchase a pre-made bouquet, feel free to do so from the blue farmstand on the road (open daily from 9ish-6ish), or text/call Terra at 604-831-4976 to pre-order. First come, first serve, unless ordered.

We look forward to having you and your family come to spend time on our farm! A reminder to please supervise children at all times, especially if you are letting them use the clippers to cut flowers. We also ask that young children have an adult help them with the flowers, as this is a part of how we make a living and it takes many hours of love and care to grow and maintain each stem. A gentle reminder that we are not responsible for any injuries while you are visiting our farm.

Please leave pets at home to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all our visitors. Leashed service animals are welcome, but please do keep in mind that we have other animals on the property, though they are fenced.

While we welcome those in wheelchairs and with other mobility needs, our fields are naturally uneven, so navigation may be challenging. Please feel free to contact us in advance and we will make every attempt to accommodate you within our means.

If it happens to rain on your appointment time, we will happily still host you to pick your bouquet. Please dress for the weather. We have a few extra umbrellas on site. In case of severe weather, we may close the farm and will reschedule your appointment.

What we grow is seasonal, and also dependant on what kind of a weather year we are having! Please check this page for notes about what is blooming and ready for picking! Depending on weather, we will be open until October if the blooms are blooming.

If you are in need of bathroom facilities during your appointment, we have an outhouse and wash station available for use. Please only put toilet paper and biological material down the hole and use the garbage can for any feminine products, etc. Please respect that we try to be as environmentally friendly as possible on our farm, so take your garbage with you and please avoid using harsh chemical insect repellents and sunscreen while on the property.

We hope to host flower arranging workshops, as well as other herbal medicine making workshops throughout the season. Please keep an eye out on this page for workshops coming to the farm.

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding your appointment at the farm. We look forward to hosting you for all your bouquet needs!

Terra, Jobie and family xo
