Hello and welcome to Terrasoul!

My name is Terra, and I am a woman of northern and central European ancestry, currently living in the stunning Pacific Northwest temperate rainforest area of Seal Bay in the Comox Valley. It is the traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation, who have lived and been caretakers in this area for thousands of years, relying on its rich natural resources. This land, known as the "Land of Plenty," has been significant for fishing, hunting, and gathering
for the K’ómoks people.

I am beyond grateful to live and work on this sacred land, and I feel that it is important to live and be in right relationship with all beings. Offerings are given to the plant beings and the land for their gifts, and my connection with my well ancestors keeps me rooted to my path while keeping me in check as I stumble and make mistakes
on the way to remembering my wholeness.

There is an ancient sacredness to be found in a relationship with the natural world that is experienced and tended on a daily basis.
I desire to create everyday opportunities to re-connect with the Earth and her many gifts through my products, breathwork and ceremonies. In brewing a fresh pot of tea, lathering on some nourishing herbal body cream or partaking in a sacred ceremony, a re-connection is being made to the great song and heartbeat of the Great Mother to us all; one that I hope will brighten, invigorate, bring peace & heal.

As a mother, I understand the importance of simplicity, purity and natural ingredients for myself and my family. I value community and sustainability, which is why I wildcraft and use local sources & organic products whenever possible. My products do not contain harmful or unnatural ingredients.

Terrasoul is like a third child to me, and her birth has been slow and laborious, but full of wonder, joy and magic. Her journey is my journey, always growing one moment at a time, tended by loving hands and bathed in endless hours of learning, witnessing and exploring. I consider myself a folk herbalist, meaning that I have decided to learn about the Earth and the plant beings and elements medicine from teachers whom I admire, whenever I can, and in whatever capacity is available to me. In that exploration, I have also returned to my breath and presence, and found them to be some of my greatest teachers and liberators. My dream is to help restore an appreciation of herbal medicine and magic to the daily conscious, one herbal creation and ceremony at a time.

It wasn't so long ago that our Ancestors belonged to the land, and so the land belonged to them. Nature was a daily part of their lives, and their livelihood and health depended so much on the weather, the crops and whatever could be foraged from the surrounding areas, which was also dependent on the season. I am intrigued by the old stories of the land, of a history steeped in traditions forgotten, misplaced and caked in a layer of dust. I delight in the surprising nature of plants to show up just when you need them, and the messages they whisper if one dares take a moment to listen. I have poured my passion and my heart into Terrasoul, and I humble myself to singing the forgotten songs of our Ancestors, and partake in the Great Song of the world.

I hope you enjoy my creations, ceremonies and healing rituals and that they bring you as much joy as they do me.

Thank you for stopping by and herbal blessings,
