Sacred Ceremony and Ritual
People have been coming together to mark significant life transitions through ceremony and ritual since ancient times, though many of life's passages have been left out in this new busy way of being, and the depth and meaning of the milestones that are still celebrated in this modern culture may feel impersonal and lacking. The modern culture has literally and figuratively moved away from the tightly woven communities of old and into more individualistic ways of living and being, yet many still crave those sacred moments of being honoured by the community that surrounds, supports and encourages as one moves through important gateways and initiations of life.
I offer a variety of ceremonies for the individual and community. Ceremonies are created and tailored to the needs and desires of the client, so that they are potent with the necessary medicine to be sacred for those involved. I am a cis-gendered female and I specialize in women's ceremonies, but I gladly work with all genders and am open to creating ceremonies that promote healing, empowerment and joy. Inclusivity and showing up as our true selves is very important to me, as well as making sure that the container that we create and hold space within feels safe and contained.

Mother blessing
Terra provided a thoughtful and personally curated mother blessing for the birth of my second child. I was truly touched by the attention to detail that she offered with all of the preparation for the ceremony. She carefully and thoughtfully incorporated tokens of love & support, opened space for friends to share voices of wisdom for me to carry forth with me on my journey. I felt truly honoured, and nurtured during the evening. Terra's warm and genuine nature, made everyone feel at ease and comfortable in my home where we hosted the ceremony. There were wonderful offerings to honour Mother Earth, along with personalized offerings to me as the Mother-to-be. There was delicious food organized in a potluck format, along with small tokens and gifts from friends, a beautiful ceremony with lovely words led by Terra. I was pampered with a foot soak and belly painting, among other wonderful things. A big thank you to Terra, and my friends who worked with her ideas to customize a very special evening for me as the mother-to-be. My heart was truly warmed, when I went into labour to give birth, I felt all of their wisdom and support with me as I welcomed my second child. Those memories will be with me always.
Family ceremony
With great pleasure I welcomed Terra back into our home to honour the first birth date of our second child, our daughter. This is the same child I was carrying while Terra hosted the Mother Blessing, so it was special for us to have the 1 year milestone of our daughter’s birth with us. Yet again, Terra warmed my heart with her thoughtful gestures, and genuine nature. She truly cares for those she serves. We really wanted to celebrate our daughter, along with the joining and further bonding of our family to bring closeness. Terry brought forth some very wonderful ideas, all of which I loved because they were inclusive of every member of my family. She hosted a lovely Circle for us with elements that honoured Mother Earth, and the importance of unity within the family. She shared lovely words customized specific to our family, and we chose to close our ceremony by uniting with red string bracelets tied around our wrists by each other, and by planting a tree as a special place that we can continually go as a family, to symbolize our eternal love for one another. I have greatly enjoyed working with Terra, and will certainly continue to invite her into our family in the future when we have special occasions and moments for which we wish to hold ceremony.
